Creature of Habit is a strategic creative studio. We find the real problem behind a brief, then solve it with brand strategy, brand identity, web design, web development and motion. Strategy comes first – we pressure-test the brief before any work begins, so the craft is pointed at the problem that actually matters.

We are based in South Africa and work remotely with clients across the country and internationally.

03 How long has Creature of Habit been in business?

Creature of Habit was founded in 2020, after almost two decades of agency experience. That means more than twenty years of accumulated craft.

04 What services does Creature of Habit offer?

Brand and communication strategy, brand identity and design, web design and development, motion design, creative direction, SEO and display media, and brand activation. Every engagement starts with strategy.

05 What does a project cost?

It depends on scope. After a first call you get a one-page direction with a fixed price. No hourly billing, no surprises at invoice time.

06 How long does a website take?

Most websites ship in three to six weeks from brief to launch. Branding projects usually run two to four weeks. We give you a timeline up front and stick to it.

07 How do we start a project?

Send a short email or WhatsApp with what you are trying to build. We reply within two working days, set up a call, and take it from there.

08 Do you only work with South African businesses?

No. Most of our clients are local, but we work remotely and have shipped projects for clients abroad. Time zones have never been the hard part.

09 What makes Creature of Habit different from a typical design agency?

You get direct access to senior creative people, with no account managers in between. We do clarity, by design: strategy first, then craft. Our work is judged on the change it creates for the business, not just how it looks.

10 Do you own the final files when the project is done?

Yes. At handover you get final files, editable source files and a short walkthrough. You leave with everything you need to keep going.
