Copy Book Projects is a Garden Route firm doing an unusual thing – running design, procurement, and construction as one integrated process instead of a handoff between three vendors. Based in Wilderness. Working across residential, commercial, hospitality, and pop-up spaces.

The brief was the full brand-plus-website build – identity, tone, and a portfolio-first site that showed the range of work without splintering into four disconnected sub-brands.

Challenge

Multi-service construction firms usually undersell themselves online. Either the site talks about one discipline (usually construction) and hides the design and procurement in a submenu, or it lists all three as tickboxes and loses the through-line.

Copy Book’s edge is the through-line – we do it by the book – design decisions that inform procurement decisions that inform construction decisions, so the space that opens is the space that was drawn. The site had to make that visible without turning into a process diagram.

The work

We built the identity around methodical precision made warm – editorial serif logo, considered palette, portfolio imagery as the hero of every page. Not corporate. Not artisanal. Composed.

One firm, four categories – Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, and Pop-up Spaces given their own project archives. Same visual chassis, same case-study template, different rooms to walk through. A prospective client browsing hospitality sees hospitality work first, not everything at once.

Scope of works – the what is included page done properly, not as a bullet list. Design, procurement, and construction each with what they cover, what they hand off, and how the phases connect.

Project cards as case studies – each project has its own page with a proper write-up, before-and-after imagery, materials and finishes, and links to related projects. Content collection so the team can keep adding without design work.

Quote-request flow – contact form that qualifies the enquiry (project type, scope, timeframe) so the first email in reply is already useful.

Built on WordPress – so the team can add new projects, update service descriptions, and publish scope documents without a developer round every time.
